Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, model, inventor and businesswoman from Australia. She began her career in Australia, and later moved to Hollywood in which she is a huge successes. George is a native of Perth in Western Australia initially was interested in dancing and roller-skating with artistic flair. Her modelling career began in her twenties after she was awarded the Western Australia Teenage Model Award in the year 1992. Her debut on screen was the episode of the soap opera series Seven Network's Home and Away the year after. Her big screen debut was on screen in Dark City, a mystery thriller. She then played various parts in supporting roles on shows like Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first major Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. She is currently one the most sought out performers from Australia in American entertainment. George is an entrepreneur who has introduced her own product Style Snaps on the market.
